The registration provides a starting point, but model year and engine capacity are not enough for final supply. Citroen offered different 2.2 BlueHDi outputs across the 2019, 2022 and newer ranges. Confirm the Reg no., engine code, output, transmission and emissions-related specification with the supplying workshop.

prepared replacement with written specification and qualifying cover.
compatible stock under core-return terms.
correctly identified unit where budget, history and cover suit the job. The workshop should compare total cost, availability, fitting scope and expected van use.
A 2.2 BlueHDi may arrive with smoke, noise, overheating, low oil pressure, timing-related damage, turbocharger or injector concerns, seizure or loss of compression. These descriptions do not identify the complete repair. The workshop must confirm internal damage and connected systems before finalising the scope.
OWNER-DRIVERS — balance completed cost, downtime and intended ownership.
TRADES AND COURIERS — consider recovery, engine availability and a realistic completion window.
FLEETS — standardise vehicle details, authorisation contacts and job documentation across multiple vans.
Body length and conversion do not alone determine the engine, but they can affect recovery access and vehicle downtime priorities.

standardise vehicle details, authorisation contacts and job documentation across multiple vans. Body length and conversion do not alone determine the engine, but they can affect recovery access and vehicle downtime priorities.
Many eligible jobs can be completed within up to five working days from arrival, subject to diagnosis, correct engine availability, authorisation and additional work. Qualifying reconditioned engines may carry up to three years’ unlimited-mileage cover and qualifying used engines up to six months. The workshop issues the actual warranty.
Provide the registration, symptoms, postcode and service required. Suitable independent specialists can then check the correct engine and route.
