Supply-only separates the engine supplier from the fitter. Confirm who diagnoses the original failure, checks the turbo, injectors, cooling and lubrication systems, transfers ancillaries, replaces service items, commissions the engine and handles any later fault investigation. Failure to follow written fitting or servicing requirements may affect warranty cover.
The independent supplier provides the written cover. Qualifying reconditioned engines may carry up to three years’ unlimited-mileage warranty; qualifying used engines may carry up to six months’ unlimited-mileage warranty. Supply-only terms may require professional fitting records, evidence of supporting-system checks and specified servicing.
